Vitiligo
Vitiligo is a skin condition characterized by patches of pale white or pink skin. It is caused by a lack of melanin, the pigment responsible for giving the skin its color. While vitiligo cannot be cured, common treatments for vitiligo include topical medications, medical light therapy, and ultraviolet light therapy may restore lost skin color.
